Electronics South is New Zealand's largest industry group representing approximately 200 electronics design, manufacturing and related companies.

The group is led by industry professionals and enables commercialisation of platform technologies or solutions for targeted vertical markets via collaboration. In particular, Electronics South has identified 3 key platform technology areas in which it is focused:
   - IPV6
   - Wireless Networking
   - Sensor Technologies

By focusing on pragmatic solutions for the small-medium enterprise (SME) sector, the organisation is able to effectively support activities relevant to a wide range of industry stakeholders.

As a major initiative of Electronics South, the Connectivity event is a focal point for the local industry, providing a meaningful setting for organisations to exchange ideas and discuss business opportunities.

There is no formal membership or fees required to be involved with Electronics South, with participation encouraged where relevant and of value to the industry as a whole.
